May 31 was the hottest day of the month, the first 90 degree day for the season, and the customers still came to shop at the Historic Burlington Antiques and Art Emporium show. Good sales were reported from Emporium dealers inside the shop and from those set up in the parking lot.
The success of the show has convinced the Emporium’s management to begin holding biannual antique shows, one in May and one in October. The next one will take place on Sunday, Oct. 25.
The Emporium courtyard is presently filled with the beautiful colors of spring and summer flowers. The shop’s dealers have filled this space with items to enhance gardens or patios.
The Emporium, located at 424 High St. in Burlington, N.J., is open seven days week from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours until 7 p.m. each Thursday.
