Locati's Online January Sale Results

Locati LLC of Maple Glen, Pa., held its online January sale from the 4th to the 18th. Nearly 700 lots were offered in a large variety of categories from estate silver to fine art and furniture.
Highlights included a Rookwood pottery vase decorated by Sara Sax which brought $750; a six-piece sterling tea set by the Howard Sterling Company which realized $1,300; a circa 1900 liquor bottle with portrait of Winfield Scott Schley selling for $500; and a Breitling 806 Navitimer wristwatch which brought $1,500. An antique palace-size Kerman rug realized $2,900; a large Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vase sold for $1,900; a good Elmer O. Stennes Girandole banjo clock brought $2,100; and a rare diminutive Federal lady's desk sold for $1,200. Another interesting item was a bronze figural group by Evgeni Alexandrovich Lanceray which sold for $3,200.
Locati offers monthly sales which start the first Monday of the month and are available online for two weeks. The preview is always the last Saturday before the end of the sale and is open to the public. Locati's February sale features property from estates in Philadelphia and also Pittsburgh.
