Results In From Joel Heisey Real Estate and Antique Auction

Auctioneer Joel Heisey of 222 Old Mill Road in Newsmanstown, Pa., conducted a public sale at 110 Vine St. in Richland, Pa., on June 21. The 1,450 square foot two-bedroom ranch house situated on a .57 acre lot sold for $175,000 to Rose Colon of Newmanstown. Highlights of the sale from the contents of the property are as follows. There were 141 registered bidders.
A Gaudy Dutch cup and saucer sold for $400, and a Gaudy Dutch waste bowl with a small crack brought $150. A Jade Fire King nest of five bowls sold for $110, and a grouping of approximately 60 pieces of Jade Fire King totaled $640. An early straw filled bear realized $500, and a plastic wind-up doll brought $20. A bisque china head doll sold for $75, and a horse head hitching post sold for $100. A Dresden horse and carriage sold for $375, a Waltham pocket watch for $85; and an early eight-foot farm table sold for $550. A two-drawer stand brought $220, and a five-piece wicker set, $450. Heisey also sold a Ridgeway grandfather's clock for $420.
