Results In From South Jersey Auction's Jan. 25 Sale

On Jan. 25, South Jersey Auctions held a large, diverse sale. The sale featured 281 registered in-house bidders and 54 absentee bidders. Several highlights included a 40-inch Victor Records paper mache “Nipper Dog,” which sold for $1,100; a Kittinger mahogany carved breakfront made for resale at Colonial Williamsburg, Va., which sold for $2,500; a pair of hand painted porcelain and bronze French Sevres-style urns, which sold for $950; and an antique Italian burl walnut and satinwood inlaid two-piece carved corner cabinet, which sold for $800.
Prices do not include the company’s 15 percent buyer’s premium.
