The Delaware Train Show And Octoberfest Toy Show Will Be Held Oct. 25 And 26

The eighth Delaware Train Show will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nur Shrine Center on Route 13/198 S. DuPont Highway in New Castle, Del. Admission will be $4. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge. There will be a $10 early buyers preview at 8:00 a.m.
The show will feature over 150 tables of trains, accessories, slotcars, and some toys. It will have a diversity of trains in all scales and makes. A variety of unique dealers coming from up and down the East Coast will exhibit. The train show is Saturday only.
The Octoberfest Toy Show will be held on Sunday, Oct. 26. The show will have over 175 tables of new, collectible and antique toys. The show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission will be $5. Children under the age of 12 will be admitted free of charge. There will be a $10 early buyers preview at 9 a.m. This is the largest toy show on the East Coast.
There will be free parking for both events, and both are rain-or-shine events.
The Nur Shrine Temple is convenient to I-95, I-295 and U.S. Route 40. It is three miles from the Delaware Memorial Bridges.
