The return of the Hayfield Outdoor Antique Show and Sale took place Aug. 30. It was held on the grounds of Dale Myers Antiques on Route 29 just south of Tunkhannock, Pa. This outdoor sale was a long running tradition from the 1970s through 2008. After a six year break, it was revived this year. The show featured over 20 vendors and Myers’ antique shop was open offering quality antiques, collectibles, jewelry, advertising items, and more.
Feedback from attending showgoers was positive and all were pleased to see the event back and to be greeted by nice weather with partly sunny conditions and temperatures in the upper 70s. Showgoers were able to enjoy lunch, provided by a local fire department as a fundraiser, while dining in elegant English-inspired gardens.
