Unreserved Estate Collections To Be Sold In Variety Auction

Jeffrey S. Evans & Associates' February variety auction contains a true diversity of material and will include everything from Native American pottery to early pewter; Arts and Crafts to early camera equipment and photographs; rare Depression glass to vintage cigar cutters and candy containers. All will be sold unreserved on Saturday, Feb. 27.
Featuring the vintage baseball card collection of the late Stanley F. Keller of Broadway, Va., including sets and near sets from the 1950s-1970s; there will also be a large collection of Native American material including beadwork, baskets, blankets/rugs, and pottery; vintage western saddles; antique firearms and militaria; advertising and country store items including tobacco; a collection of figural cigar cutters; vintage toys including figural glass candy containers; Arts & Crafts material including Dedham and Dorchester pottery; and country furniture and accessories including boxes and baskets.
There will be a large selection of early wrought iron including hearth and lighting; a Conestoga wagon box; a collection of 18th and 19th century door locks and hardware; early pewter; early cameras and photographs; a collection of 500 glass negatives from an unidentified Shenandoah Valley photographer; vintage surveying equipment; good political memorabilia including a Woodrow Wilson flag, ribbons, and pinback buttons; CSA currency; textiles; and a 340+ piece collection of Cameo depression glass including the extremely rare center-handle server (one of four known).
This auction will be available for preview on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Feb. 24, 25, and 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on the day of auction from 8 a.m. until the last lot is sold.
