U.S. Antique Shows Kicks Off Spring With The Pier Antique Show

March 18, 2014

U.S. Antique Shows has announced that the internationally famed and ever popular Pier Antique Show will once again return to Pier 94 on Saturday and Sunday, March 29 and 30. Recognized as New York City's largest antique event, the show will feature more than 400 exhibitors of quality antique furniture, jewelry, and decorative and fine arts.
"Our exhibitors are really excited to bring a wide range of merchandise back to Pier 94 for our March show," says fair development director Andrea Canady. "We also have several new exhibitors that will be showcasing collections never before seen in the New York area. We feel that the addition of these new dealers, along with the many returning dealers, creates anticipation and enjoyment for our attendees."
Visitors can look forward to acquiring pieces from the 18th century through 1980s at the upcoming March Pier Antique Show. Items include a wide variety of kitchen and home décor, paintings, antique jewelry, art glass, ceramics, and more. A varied selection of vintage clothing, jewelry, and handbags will also be available.
Harry Greenberger of HG Limited has exhibited at the Pier Antique Show for more than 20 years. "Our theme for the March show is “April Showers Bring May Flowers,” and we're bringing a collection of mid-century umbrella stands. We also specialize in American handmade hammered aluminum from 1930s to ‘40s." He continued, "We return to the Pier Antique Show every year because there's no market like New York…It's the most exciting and all the major buyers are located there. It's the only show we do, and we bring new collections each time!"
Show times will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $20 and is valid for re-entry both days. Children under 16 will be admitted free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
