Gateway’s sports cards and memorabilia auction held Oct. 29 included an autographed baseball by Nelson Fox with minor wear, which sold for $1,700. Also sold were a small collection of baseball bobbleheads from the early 1960s.
An early 1960s baseball mini bobblehead (6.25 inches) of Washington Senators, African-American player, green base, with slight chip on left shoe, sold for $375. An early 1960s baseball mini (slightly smaller) KC bobblehead with a green base sold for $290. An Indians bobblehead with green base sold for $200, and a Cubs mini bobblehead with green base sold for $180.
