The 39th Pittsburgh Antiques Show & Sale

To say that the Pittsburgh Antiques Show & Sale is not to be missed is an understatement! In its 39th season, the show has become the go-to event for the antiquing community throughout the southwestern Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic regions. It will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 15 and 16, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel (South), located at 164 Fort Couch Road in Pittsburgh, Pa.
With nearly 50 dealers specializing in all manner of fine antiques and collectibles, antique-related demonstrators specializing in restoration and repair, as well as regional museum displays, the show truly has something for everyone. The hours on Saturday will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 9 a.m. early buyer’s preview. The show will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission will be $5 during regular hours and $10 during the early buyer’s preview. Children under 12 will be admitted free of charge.
A display titled “A Rainbow of Victorian Glass, 1845 to 1910,” will be presented by the show’s sponsor, the Historical Glass Club of Pittsburgh during the show. It will tell the story of how Victorian glassmakers mastered the art of creating color in glass and will be a visual experience not to be missed.
